Principal's Corner

Being a WILDCAT, or part of the WILDCAT family, is an honor that not many can claim.  A WILDCAT represents trust, integrity, honor, respect and service. We make a difference in the community because we are the community.  I am excited to be part of a rich tradition of excellence where THE WILDCAT manifests itself in Academics, Arts and Athletics. I would like to thank parents for allowing your child to take part in our programs.  Our teachers, coaches, administrators and staff are committed to teach our students how to strive for excellence, persevere through adversity, make sacrifices and compete with dignity and pride.  

It is an honor to serve the students of Weslaco East and I wish them the best of luck for the 2019-2020 school year.  

Ser un Gato Salvaje, o parte de la familia de los Gatos Salvajes, es un honor que no muchos pueden reclamar.  Un Gato Salvaje representa honor, integridad, respeto, servicio y confianza. Hacemos diferencia en la comunidad porque somos la comunidad.  Me da mucho gusto ser parte de una escuela que tiene tradiciones de excelencia, donde el Gato Salvaje se manifiesta en Academia, Arte y Deportes.  Me gustaría darle las gracias a todos los padres de familia por darnos la oportunidad de educar a sus hij@s. Nuestros maestros, entrenadores y administradores estamos comprometidos a educar a sus hij@s para acercarnos a la excelencia, perseverar durante adversidad, hacer sacrificios y competir con dignidad. Es un honor servir a los estudiantes de Weslaco East High School y les quiero desear lo mejor para el año 2019-2020.
